The story of
The Berry Patch

The Berry Patch began in 1983 in the home of the founder, Berrie Lounsberry. The reason behind its founding 25 years ago remains the same today – to give children a love of learning in a fun, loving, faith-based environment.

The 250 children currently enrolled are taught in the very same way those first 6 children were – in a holistic manner that seeks to enrich the whole child – mind, body and spirit.

Our focus is on preparing your child for kindergarten, giving him or her the tools necessary to thrive in their future school years. We believe having fun is the best way to introduce a child to learning.  That is why we use a play-based approach to help them develop logical thinking, reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Our outreach program, Children Serving Others (CSO), is designed to help your child learn to reach out to others in his or her community and around the world.  This is just one-way we work to enrich your child’s spirit. Contact us today to set up a tour and learn more about how we can help you put your child on a path toward a lifetime of learning!
